18 Powerful Excel Shortcuts Every User Should Know
Excel Shortcuts

1. Ctrl + A (click within the dataset) – selects your entire data set.

2. Ctrl + Space (click within the column) – selects the whole column

3. Shift + Space (click within the row) – selects entire row

4. Ctrl + Home – Navigate to the top left of your dataset

5. Ctrl + End – Navigate to bottom right corner of your dataset

6. Ctrl + Arrow keys – Jump from one side of table to the other in the direction of the arrow

7. Ctrl + Shift + Arrow keys – Jump from one side of table to the other in the direction of the arrow but selects everything in its path on the way.

8. Ctrl + Shift + L – Adds in filters

9. Ctrl + Shift + Plus sign (select a row) – Adds a row to the table

10. Ctrl + Minus sign (select a row) – Deletes the row

11. Fn + F11 (click inside the dataset) – Turns the data into a separate chart in its own sheet.

12. Ctrl + 0 (select the column) – Hides the column

13. Ctrl + 9 (select the row) – Hides the row

14. Alt + ; (reveals the lines where the hidden rows and columns are. You can double click on them to expand them).

15. Ctrl + Shift + ; – Inserts the current time

16. Ctrl + ; – Inserts the current date

17. Alt + A + M (Click inside the table) – Automatically removes duplicate rows.

18. Alt + = (select the table) – Autosums all the rows and columns
